5Works like a champ  Sep 18, 2008 By Ridgley Resources
Although it took three of us a while to put it together, the assembly was straightforward. With four concrete blocks sitting horizontally and bungeed on, it worked well. I was able to aerate my two acre yard in about an hour. The ground was damp, but not muddy and it made perfect plugs. I made passes at 90 degrees to each other in some open areas. You have to be careful not to let it tip backward when unhitched, but otherwise, it's easy to use.

I was pleased and plan to use it again next spring. I'd recommend it to anyone.

4Good overall  Nov 16, 2010 By DW Woodworker
Have used this a couple of times now. Works well, though even with the max 160 pounds on it, I can only get cores an inch deep, sometimes 1.5 inches deep. It is supposed to be able to get cores as deep as three inches. Maybe in soil that's already un-compacted.

No problems with assembly, though the box arrived with holes in it, and the hardware bag had split inside, so a screw was missing. Easy to replace at the store.

And one side axle has gotten slightly bent, I assume because I always use the 160 pound blocks.

But overall for the money, its okay by me.

4Don't go backwards!  May 26, 2010 By Jennifer A. Bush
Assembly was time-consuming (~2 hours) but I felt the directions were pretty decent. Unit seems to be pretty well-built with the exception of the tongue, which failed the first time out when I got stuck going up a hill and tried to put it in reverse. To its credit, I was able to bend it back and finish my yard before it failed again. Also, when i called Agri-Fab and explained what happened, they agreed to send a replacement part for free. All-in-all I'd purchase the unit again, especially in light of the customer support!

5All I expected and more.  Apr 13, 2010 By K. Murray
Just finished assembling the Agri Fab Smartlink platform and plugger. The assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. Assembly was a bit much for one person, but Agri Fab can't be held responsible for my short sightedness. After it was assembled, I found the operation to be as advertised. The plugger worked well. My favorite part of the system is I detached the plugger and attached the dethacher to work on my mother-in-law's yard. It worked like a charm too. It's great having two yard tools that take up so little space. I will be purchasing the roller attachement later this week.

I definatley would advise others to purchase the platform. It works as well, if not better, than a dedicated tool.

5great product  Sep 08, 2011 By denny
It took me approximately an hour and a half to assemble. But I bought it through The Home Depot for $179. Same product/model # only much more reasonable price.
