very good convertible push/pull cart for small yard jobs Jul 17, 2007
By Matthew M. Landis The cart arrived and looks as good as on the web.
It assembled nicely without any hitches.
I was going to buy this from another website and they wanted $149 plus $80 shipping! So the price on Amazon is VERY good. The unit arrived very quick too.
The cart converts from a pull cart (for behind my John Deere 160) to a push cart in a minute. It is nicer than a wheel barrow for my wife since it has 2 wheels. And the convertible part is nice so we don't have to store two items!
I was a little surprised that there are no bearings on the wheels (plastic wheel spins on a metal shaft) and they are attatched by one friction clip. (not a cotter pin). Seems a bit chintzy but it is working very good for me.
If you have a ranch you're going to want something heavier, but for a small yard with light jobs this cart works great as a small tractor pull cart and a wheel barrow replacement.

Push /Tow Garden Cart Review Aug 24, 2005
By William Ebbs

The Push/Tow cart is exactly what I was looking for. The Poly Tub will not rust or degrade as metal normally does. The cart is very well built and has a 500 lb capacity. I use the cart as a wheeled barrow or I hook it up to my lawn tractor to haul dirt, logs etc. I am very pleased with my purchase and I have a lot of confidence in Agri-Fab, I have one of their metal trailers that is about 15 years old and it is still going strong. Actually I thought so much of my first Push/Tow cart I purchase another one for my lake house.

If assembled correctly this will do just about just about any job! Jul 14, 2007
By Lumi I've been using this cart for two years now and must say it's very well built. I can only guess the people who rated this with one or two stars must have assembled it incorrectly. I haul fire wood loading it up with 350 to 400lbs. It's so well balanced that I push it by hand rather than hicthing it up to my tractor. The Poly bed won't rust and is as strong as any stamped sheel metal one. The big air filled tires help moving it over rough land. For the price, under $100 delivered, you can't go wrong.

Agri-Fab 500-Pound Poly Convertible Push/Tow Cart Aug 23, 2007
By RIM I am pleased with the cart. It sure beats my old noisy rusting metal cart this unit replaces. My wife enjoys the feature of the cart being able to be pushed without having to use the lawn tractor. The 'fold-away' tractor hook-up is a great innovation. When folded away, the tractor hook-up doubles as a 'leg' to stabilize the cart. Assembly of the cart is very easy. The poly body deadens the noise of loading and unloading. Utilizing a sloped body eliminates the need for a tail gate which was always a pain with the metal type. My only complaint is with the body of the cart's attachment to the axle. Some redesign should be made here. The steel rod axle is one-half the size of the hole in the mount. This causes a slapping sound when the unit starts to move, in transit, and when it stops. It also plays a negative role in backing the unit into a specific spot for dumping. Too much play in the axle allows the cart to move where it wants. A bushing should accompany the unit to be inserted in the mounting hole to elimate the sound and the sloppiness of the axle bouncing in the mount. Or, redesign the mounting braket so the hole isn't so big.

Some things to know Nov 15, 2010

The weight is closer to 60 lbs rather than 80 The capacity as measured is 7 cu ft. The box says 8 and the Amazon listing says 10 The wheels have a bushing instead of a bearing. These can be replaced but may not be a problem. Otherwise it is nicely made. The grooves in the poly bed might make a problem for removing material and definitely for mixing concrete.
