This is my wife's review: "I have a very small waist relative to my hips and thighs. These jeans FIT without the gap that usually pooches out at the small of my back. Wish they had some in-between lengths, so took one star off for that".

..that these run small!! I like that the style and cut doesn't offer oodles of excess room in the rump area (always unflattering) and that they're more slim fitting through the thigh. But these are, for me, about 2 full sizes smaller than jeans in the same size from other designers. If your wider in the waist, definitely skip 'em. The color wash is ok, pretty even. But they're a bit stiff, definitely require some breaking in. Overall, just so-so due to odd sizing and the fact I prefer my jeans on the soft side--less western-y and stiff.

I have three pair of these jeans, the fit is great and true to size. The tummy panel does wonders! I switched from this style from the regular non-slimming Aura Wranglers. The slimming jeans are much more flattering. Worth the money, quality product.

These jeans run at least a full size smaller than the regular Aura jeans (the non-slimming type) and are tighter through the thigh. I wear a size 12, regular rise in the non-slimming jeans (which I love). I ordered a size 12 regular in the slimming jeans and literally could barely button the jeans. The slimming jeans fit at least as tight, if not tighter, than the size 10 I tried on in the non-slimming version. Also, the rise on the slimming jeans is shorter by, I'm guessing, almost an inch. The jeans were bluer than the picture on Amazon, but it's a pretty blue for jeans, especially with the denim-colored striations, which are visible in Amazon's pictures. I'll stick with the non-slimming version.

these jeans are great but over time they strech more so if you wear a 16 get the next size smaller.
